Esther and John knew they wanted to do something unique and special for their wedding. When the time came, they decided they would ditch the formalities and hike up Black Butte with a small group of friends and family in t-shirts and sneakers. The day before, however, they got classy with their photographers Tim and Caitlin of Gallivan Photo.
From the photographers:
“Esther and John are fun, unique and have impeccable style. It was so exciting to get 2 hours to shoot their wedding portraits, when at a typical wedding, you only get about 30 minutes. We got to explore Black Butte which holds a special place in John’s heart as his favorite place to visit as a kid. Esther and John’s wedding was anything but ordinary, and we loved the opportunity to be a part of it.”
Esther and John invested in areas that truly mattered to them to create a special weekend. For their formal portraits with Gallivan Photo, they had a boutonnière and bouquet made by Summer Robbins Flowers. Esther’s gown was off the shoulder with beautiful lace detailing. She somehow looked classic and modern all at once.
No matter if your wedding has 10 guests or 250, it’s important to ask yourselves: What’s truly important to us? What will stand the test of time in our memory? What feels right?
