Alright, okay, it’s June, and if you’re getting married in 2017, you’ve probably already had your engagement photos taken, BUT some of you are 2018 brides, and some of you are 2019 and beyond brides- so here we go.
Central Oregon is a beautiful place to have your e-session for so many reasons. You’re less likely to have a rainy day than in the valley, you’ve got the gorgeous cascade mountains and you have tons of amazing photographers here. We asked our featured photographers to share their favorite e-session locations, and here’s what they came up with:
Amanda Photographic: Mt. Bachelor
Mt. Bachelor’s ski lift operates during summer, making it a great place to catch an incredible sunset view. Not to mention, the ski lift makes for a super fun spot to grab some shots.
Erica Swantek Photography: Smith Rock
Smith Rock is a fantastic spot for an engagement session. People travel from all over the world to see this park, so if you have friends and family from out of town, they will be completely “wowed” by your photos if you choose this spot!
Gallivan Photo: The Painted Hills
Just an hour and a half from Bend is a magical place. The Painted Hills is close enough for a day trip, and well worth your time. Look at those colors and textures!
Ely Roberts: Todd Lake
This spot is epic. It’s especially beautiful at sunrise…
Suitcase Studio: Dillon Falls
mmmmyeaaaah… this is an iconic spot for Central Oregon and you can usually shoot there without any crowds getting in your way.
Casa Bay Photography: Drake Park
When asked what her favorite spot for engagement sessions was, Maria Bay of Casa Bay Photography just said “anywhere with trees and a sunset”. A great photographer can take beautiful pictures anywhere, and she’s no exception.
Everyday Moments Photography: Aspen Hall
We hope you enjoyed this tour around some of our favorite spots. Remember, any place can be great for your e-session. Pick something significant to you!
